For Gabe and Tiffany Burak – July 2, 2016

Gabe, who lived across the street from us for 20 years, is getting married next month.  He is a wonderful man – gentle, strong, straight-as-an-arrow, and we hope he and Tiffany will be happy for years to come!

For Elizabeth and Nate, finally!

Elizabeth and Nate were married last summer, and finally the quilt is done! Took longer than expected-always does.

“Dreams Come True Under the Rainbow, Too”

Wedding Quilt for Hannah and Stephen

Hannah said she likes dark solids, so I chose these chambrays and solids in blues and purples, then added some Lotta Landsdotter prints to lighten it all up.  The back is french shirting fabric and double gauze.  The wonky crosses were echoed in the quilting, which is a giant wonky cross centered then quilted out to the corners.
